Mandarin Shrimp

Description
" Mandarin Orange Shrimp with Rice "

Ingredients
* 1 package of TigerThai Mandarin Orange Shrimp
* Short grain white rice or rice of your choice

Directions
Prepare the Mandarin Orange Shrimp according to
package directions. Cook 1/2 to 1 cup short grain
white rice or a rice of your choice. Put a serving of rice
on a plate, add shrimp then pour warmed orange
sauce over top of ingredients.

Ingredients
1/4 cup Dry Sherry or Mirin
3/4 cup Soy Sauce
1 tblsp. Sugar
1 cup Water
For a less salty taste adjust soy sauce and water accordingly.

Directions
In a saucepan combine the following: dry sherry or Mirin, soy sauce, sugar, and water. Bring to boil; stir in sugar until it dissolves. Serve warm. Makes 1 1/2 cups.

Tempura Dipping Sauce

Description
"A traditional Japanese dipping sauce for shrimp or vegetable tempura. This is the full-flavored version - unlike the thinner, watery, less robust sauce being served in some restaurants. Serve in small bowls at each setting. "

Ingredients

* 1 cup water
* 1 tablespoon dashi granules
* 1/4 cup mirin (Japanese sweet wine)
* 2 tablespoons soy sauce

Directions
In a small saucepan, bring water to a boil. Stir in dashi, and cook for 2 minutes. Remove from heat, and stir in mirin and soy sauce. Dashi & Mirin can be purchased at grocery stores with Asian product sections or Asian markets.
